Hamza Walker
Hamza Walker is Director of LAXART, an independent nonprofit art space in Los Angeles, where, in the winter of 2020, he curated Postcommodity: Some Reach While Others Clap and Outside In, a two-person exhibition with Karen Reimer and Phil Peters. Prior to his move to Los Angeles, we were pleased to call Hamza a Chicagoan. From 1994-2016 Walker was Associate Curator and Director of Education at The Renaissance Society at the University of Chicago.
