Jennifer Carty

Jennifer Carty is the Associate Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art at the Smart Museum of Art at the University of Chicago. Prior to her current position, Carty has held curatorial roles at the Iris and B. Gerald Cantor Center for Visual Arts at Stanford University and the Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum at Michigan State University. She holds a BA in the History of Art and French and Francophone Studies from the University of Michigan and an MA in Contemporary Art from the Sotheby’s Institute of Art in London.
